Hello (Dobra Dan)
I never thought I would have a blog, but Tyche can be very persuasive so here I am. I have no idea what I will write about in the future, so if you have any idea’s please let me know. To start with I will tell you a little about myself.
I call home Wichita Falls, Texas. After I finished high school I enlisted in the US AIR FORCE. For my first assignment I was posted to RAF Alconbury, England. It is located about 30 minutes driving from
Cambridge. From there I was sent to Castle Air Force Base, Merced, California. It was about an hours drive from San Francisco. From there I was sent to Ramstein Air Base in Ramstein, Germany. It is located about 1½ hours driving from Frankfurt, Germany. After Ramstein I left the Air Force and went to work for the US Army. Working for the army has sent me to many different places and has allowed me to travel in my time off. In 2000 I was sent to Tuzla, Bosnia. I returned to Mannheim Germany in 2006.
I am married to the beautiful and wonderful Anci (Tyche) of Osijek, Croatia. We have a small dog, a poodle named Maggie. I have 3 children from a previous marriage and Anci has 1 child. Now I would like to share a few photos with you. I will post more photos of my family and my childen in the future.
This is my self and my siblings it was taken in Japan, my father was posted there He was also in the Air Force. I am the little one in the front. (Ain’t I cute???)
This was taken in 1994,some 30 years later. My older brother passed away when he was 20 and we inserted his high school photo, the baby is twin named Susan she passed away when she was 4 months old. And we inserted my parents Catherine and Emery, who have also passed away. We are all standing in our same places except for my little sister she is too big to be held in my brother’s arms.
This is Anci and our dog Maggie.
This is of myself and my brother Bud in
New Orleans, I am on the left.( I am still cute!!!)
This is Ramona, Anci’s dog. It was a wonderful animal and is no longer with us she passed away 3 years ago.
Stay well,
See you next time.
